cPanel application template cannot be installed in Centos 7 container as cPanel no longer support Red Hat 6 and 7 based distributions

Symptoms

Upon trying to install cPanel from centos-7-x86_64-ez-panels application template the error is shown:

Cause

cPanel no longer support Red Hat 6 & 7 based distributions, so installation of the latest version of cPanel fails in Centos 7 containers as well.

 

Resolution

Please visit the  system requirements page on official cPanel website to choose another OS distribution that is supported by cPanel.
